Hope Pregnancy Center provides remote services from interim location – Los Alamos Reporter

The HOPE Pregnancy Center has moved to an interim space and continues to serve our community through remote parenting mentorship, material assistance, and take-home pregnancy tests.

HOPE has moved to an interim space at 3500 Trinity Drive, Suite B-1, while looking for a new long-term location. Clients still receive mentoring and remote check-ins from parents through phone calls and video chats, material assistance through porch visits and pick-up appointments, take-home pregnancy tests and referrals to other community resources as needed.

“As most members of our community know, it is difficult to find commercial properties in Los Alamos, especially properties suitable for direct-to-customer services, said Kim Ferguson, Executive Director of HOPE. “Since the onset of the COVID pandemic, customer needs have increased. Over the past year, HOPE has seen an increase in requests for parental mentoring services and material assistance. As our community continues to open post-COVID, we hope to find a property that is an asset to HOPE’s mission and is safe and accessible for our guests, staff and volunteers.

HOPE is still accepting donations at the tentative location. Donations can be dropped off at 3500 Trinity Drive, Suite B-1 on Wednesdays between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. or by calling 505-662-2300 to schedule an appointment. HOPE’s new mailing address is PO Box 1320, Los Alamos, NM 87544.
