Family Services Positive Parenting Program to Host Virtual Parenting Group in August | Local News


EAGLEVILLE – The COVID-19 pandemic has raised new parenting challenges for everyone. Children and adolescents have experienced disruption in their daily lives and increased concerns for their safety and that of their family and friends. Children can react in unexpected ways because they cannot express how they are feeling.

The Positive Parenting Program (Triple P) shares simple, practical and proven strategies that help parents raise confident children, establish family routines and rules that anyone can follow, and balance work and family life with less stress.

Family Services’ Triple P program offers a free virtual parenting group every Tuesday in August from noon to 1 p.m. This group is open to all parents / guardians in Montgomery County of children ages 0-18.
