Environment Minister Yasmine Fouad said her ministry is keen to help industrial facilities comply with environmental standards related to achieving sustainable industrial development, taking into account environmental considerations.
This helps provide products capable of entering global competition in light of the global green economy trend and supporting efforts to address the impacts of climate change, the minister added.
Fouad made the remarks while touring Maamoura Paper Company in Alexandria on Tuesday; as part of his visit to several industrial facilities in the governorates of Alexandria and Beheira to verify the implementation of voluntary eco-compliance plans.
