Abortion activists vandalize pro-life pregnancy center van and slash tires

The vandals recently targeted an Illinois pregnancy center that provides help to families in need, spray painting pro-abortion rhetoric on its mobile ultrasound van and puncturing the tires.

The van is owned by the Women’s Centers of Greater Chicagoland, a pro-life organization with three centers in the Skokie area. A spokesperson for the organization told LifeNews that local police are investigating, but have yet to identify any suspects.

The vandalism was discovered Thursday morning in the parking lot of a church where the van was parked. According to the organization, two tires were punctured and the words “fake clinic” were spray painted on the van.

Women’s centers use the van to provide free ultrasound scans, counseling and other support to pregnant women who are considering an abortion. They take it to abortion clinics in Chicago to reach women where they are.

“This vandalism proves that our ultrasound unit is efficient and that large abortions feel threatened. There is nothing wrong with the services we provide to women, ”the organization said in a statement to LifeNews.com.

A spokesperson said their offices had received several suspicious phone hoaxes over the past week and they believed the vandalism may have been linked to them. They said a pro-abortion group called Expose Fake Clinics also left fake customer reviews and ratings on their Yelp and Google pages.

The pro-life association thanked the police for the investigation and promised to persevere in their rescue work.

“We will not stop reaching out to women here in Chicagoland. It’s a claim the devil is crazy about the good work we’re doing here in Chicago, ”the organization said, noting its intention to open a fourth location this fall.

Attacks against pro-life activists have increased in recent years. In February, Another pro-life pregnancy center was vandalized in Virginia in the midst of a heated political debate over a pro-abortion bill. In May, someone spray painted pro-abortion graffiti on a Catholic church in Philadelphia. Then earlier this month, Another mobile ultrasonic van was vandalized in North Carolina.
